Single Ply Roofing
single ply is fast and easy to install with lower labor costs.
A single ply commercial roof is a non-asphalt system installed with just one membrane. Single ply roof membranes are cost-effective and installation is usually minimally disruptive to your business. Unlike BUR systems, for example, single ply is fast and easy to install with lower labor costs. Single ply systems like TPO, PVC, and EPDM also offer excellent reflective properties to reduce energy costs. Many types of single ply are also resistant to chemicals.
There are several types of single ply commercial roofing systems, each with benefits and drawbacks.
EPDM Roofing
EPDM
Also known as a rubber roof
EPDM has been used since the 1970s with very little changes to the formulation. Also known as a rubber roof, EPDM is made from a unique rubber polymer that gives your roof excellent resistance to UV damage that can make other materials brittle.
Compared with other commercial roofing systems, EPDM offers great protection against hail, fire, wind, thermal shock, abrasion, and low temperatures.
An EPDM roof is a cost-effective and durable flat roofing system. This flexible, lightweight material is popular for roof recovery and can be installed in several ways, including fully adhered, mechanically attached, or ballasted with seams.
PVC
easy to maintain and repair
PVC is one of the most popular commercial roofing options. This thermoplastic roofing is soft when heated but hardens as it cools. Unlike TPO, PVC membranes are fire-resistant without additional chemicals and the material has a proven track record. PVC is an eco-friendly roofing solution that’s fully recyclable and easy to maintain and repair. It’s been used extensively since the 1960s when it became the first roof membrane to contain at least half of the fossil fuels normally used to produce commercial roofs.
PVC roofs also offer a low lifecycle cost. PVC is very reflective and UV resistant, which makes it incredibly energy efficient. Its flexibility also allows it to resist damage to temperature changes.
PVC
TPO Roofing
TPO
TPO is a thermoplastic roofing membrane
TPO roofs have been used for more than 30 years and now account for 40% of all commercial roofing. Like PVC, TPO is a thermoplastic roofing membrane that hardens as it cools.
TPO is more flexible in cold weather than PVC &
it’s generally recognized as having the best qualities of PVC and EPDM at a lower cost.
While it hasn’t been used as long as EPDM and PVC, TOP roofing offers similar UV reflectivity as PVC and better puncture resistance, weather resistance, and sustainability than PVC and EPDM.
Metal Roof Coating
longest-lasting roofing solution with a low life cycle cost
Commercial metal roofing is the longest-lasting roofing solution with a low life cycle cost and easy maintenance.
A properly installed metal roof can last for 50 years or even longer while remaining weather resistant and attractive.
Despite the higher upfront cost, a metal roof can be the ultimate investment in your business. No other roofing system performs better than metal against UV damage, leaks, wind, hail, and punctures.
Metal Roof Coating
BUR
(BUR) & Modified Bitumen Roofing
adhesive to create layers of fabric or felt
Bitumen or pitch is an oily byproduct of refining crude oil. Built-up and modified bitumen are two common roofing systems that use bitumen as an adhesive to create layers of fabric or felt. BUR systems are made with layers of bitumen and felt applied hot and allowed to cool before they are covered with a layer of gravel or another weather-resistant coating.
Most BUR systems are 3 or 4 ply. A modified bitumen system combines these layers during manufacturing instead of during application. This makes modified bitumen a single ply application.
Fluid Applied Roofing
One of the best service we specialized in!
Fluid applied roof is a cost-effective solution to protect a new roof or extend the life of an aging roof. A roof coating creates a waterproof membrane to guard against the elements as well as tears and leaks.
There are many formulations of roof coatings that can be applied to virtually any roof, including metal, single ply, and BUR.
This type of commercial roofing system offers many advantages:
FLUID APPLIED ROOFING
Economical Alternative To Reroofing.
Economical Alternative To Reroofing.
Better Than Traditional Roof Shingles
Economical alternative to reroofing. A fluid applied membrane can restore an aging roof and save up to 70% over the cost of roof replacement.
Minimal Disruption

Reduces Exterior Noises
Minimal disruption. A roof coating can be applied quickly to your roof without the disruption of a tear-off or unpleasant fumes.
Environmentally Friendly
Environmentally Friendly
Less Waste And Eco Freindly Materials
Rather than tearing off and replacing your roof, a coating can restore it with a new waterproof membrane. Many coatings also qualify for the LEED program with no or low VOCs and no dangerous chemicals.
Reflective For Energy Savings
Reflective For Energy Savings
Reduces Energy Costs By Up too 30%
Reflective for energy savings. White commercial roof coatings offer unparalleled UV protection and reduce the surface temperature of your roof to lower energy costs.
Stops Leaks

Reduces Risk Of Water Damage From Leaks
Stops leaks. If your existing roof is leaking, a fluid applied roofing membrane can restore your roof’s integrity and stop leaks around vents, flashing, fasteners, tears, and more.
Roof Coatings Life Span
Roof Coatings Life Span
Lasts Longer Then Traditional Roofing Systems
Roof coatings last up to 10 years and can be reapplied when needed. Its flexibility also allows it to resist damage to temperature changes.
Commercial roof coatings can last for up to a decade with easy maintenance. When the coating wears out, it can be reapplied. With proper maintenance, a fluid applied roofing membrane can last for decades with just one or two recoatings. Applying a roof coating is one of the most cost-effective forms of commercial roof repair with long-term results that a patch can’t offer.

FAQS
Have some question about related services
How long does it take to install a new roof?
The amount of time needed to install a new commercial roof depends on the scope of the project, the type of commercial roofing system, the size of your roof, and other factors. It may take only a few days to install a new roof or it can take several weeks. If a tear-off is required, your new roof installation will take longer. Single ply roof systems are usually the fastest to install over traditional BUR and modified bitumen roofs. Commercial roof coatings can be installed in just a couple of days.
My roof leaks, do I need to replace it or can it be repaired?
Not every leaking roof needs to be replaced. Our commercial roofing contractors will inspect your roof and determine the cause of the leaks, which may be penetrations, ponding water, failed flashing, or leaks at the roof seams. In many cases, fluid applied roofing can create a new waterproof membrane over your aging and leaking roof. A roof coating is a cost-effective way to not only stop leaks but extend the life of your existing roof by up to a decade.
How long will a new roof last?
The expected lifespan of a new roof depends on factors such as the type of roof system, the quality of the installation, and how well it’s maintained. As a general rule, here’s how long you can expect the most popular commercial roofing systems to last.
BUR: 10 to 15 years
TPO: 15 to 20 years
EPDM: 20 to 40 years
Spray polyurethane foam: 30 to 50 years
Metal: 30 to 50+ years
Properly applied commercial roof coatings can extend the life of your roof by up to 10 years. While these coatings do wear out over time, they can be easily reapplied as needed.
How do I know if my business needs a new roof?
A thorough assessment by a licensed commercial roofing contractor is the best way to determine if your roof needs to be replaced or if it can be recovered. If water damage has been a problem, your roof should be checked for signs of water trapped in the roof system. Sometimes a membrane looks good on the surface but there is moisture below the membrane.
Uplift, movement, and damage to the roof membrane — or structural or roof deck issues — can also be a sign you need a new roof.
If your roof is structurally sound and installed properly, but it has leaks, penetrations, and other forms of damage, recovering the roof is likely the most cost-effective solution. When it’s an option, recovering is cheaper than roof replacement and less disruptive.
